Isidro Chavez Espinoza, more popularly known by his professional moniker Espinoza Paz, is a Grammy nominated Mexican musician renowned for his adaptations of regional music from Angostura Sinaloa and is best known for work in Banda and Norteno genres. Nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in 2011, his works has included collaborations with Romeo Santos, Julion Alvarez, and Tito Torbellino among many other artists.

His career began early, as he wrote songs at an early age. At eleven he composed his first tune for a girl he had a crush on, while teaching himself guitar at thirteen. Once graduated from high school he relocated to Sacramento, California, working picking fruit and vegetables before eventually returning home to Sinaloa.

Paz released his debut independent album in 2004, entitled “Amigo Con Derechos,” or “Friend With Benefits,” but soon after signed a recording contract with Universal Latino and recorded his debut major label album entitled “El Canta Autor del Pueblo,” or The Village Singer-Songwriter Author that same year.

This album represented an enormous increase in his net worth as it reached number one on both Latin Albums and Regional Mexican Album charts, in addition to producing two hits that became regional hits, “Para Mi Ex” and “To Impress You.”

Paz released his debut album ‘Canciones Que Duelen’ in 2011 as a compilation of some of his biggest hits, to great fan acclaim and success on both Latin Albums and Regional Mexican Albums charts. Fans were so pleased they voted to keep the record on top for several weeks – an achievement not repeated with his fourth studio effort “El Canta Autor del Cuerpo”, again becoming an instantaneous classic! In 2013, El Canta Autor del Cuerpo proved itself once more with its immense success and hit top positions both Latin Albums and Regional Mexican Albums charts simultaneously!

At that time, Espinoza Paz collaborated with artists such as Duelo, El Chapo de Sinaloa, Julion Alvarez, Montez de Durango Adair Elizalde Chuy Lizarraga and Banda El Limon. However, between 2012 and 2014 he took time out from his career due to legal disputes with former manager. But in 2016 he returned and released new albums which proved immensely popular – this engagements further increasing Espinoza Paz’s net worth to an estimated $5 Million dollars today.
