Peeling with a badyag is the basic principle

Badiaga is a coelenterate sponge that lives in fresh water. The dried sponge is used as an absorbent that has the ability to quickly dissolve swelling, remove redness and bruises, and renew the skin. The sponge contains very small needles of silica, which irritate the skin, forcing it to renew and regenerate faster.

The powerful blood flow to the surface of the epidermis, which is stimulated by the microneedles of the dried sponge, contributes to skin rejuvenation. Like any other peeling product, badyaga requires caution in handling, and will not tolerate liberties in performing masks and peels with it – that is why it is best to perform the procedure with a professional cosmetologist, in a cosmetology office or salon.

Badagi peeling procedure: how to do it right?

  1. Before peeling, the skin of the face is prepared for the procedure. For this, cotton swabs are inserted into the nostrils to prevent the product from entering the nose. Facial skin is washed with soap or cleanser. A greasy cream is applied to the area of the skin around the eyes and lips, because it is not recommended to apply preparations with a badyag to these areas.
  2. A mask with badyagi powder is applied to the skin with a brush. The composition of the mask can be different, but more often it is a mixture of sponge powder with hydrogen peroxide. There are also known masks of badyagi with clay. In some cases, peeling is performed using a ready-made gel “Badyaga-forte” – it has a milder effect on the skin than a sponge powder in the composition of masks. The mask must be kept on the skin for 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the reaction of the skin. During this time, you may feel a slight burning sensation, tingling sensation on the skin – this means that the peeling is working.
  3. At the end of the main time, the mask is washed off the face with a large amount of warm water without cosmetics for washing. Some cosmetologists advise not to wash off the mask, but to roll it off the skin with your hands – this enhances the main effects of peeling, allows you to additionally massage the skin, it is better to remove all keratinized cells from its surface.
  4. After washing off the remnants of the peeling from the skin, it is recommended to apply cool kefir to the skin in order to soothe it and relieve the unpleasant sensation of burning. It is not recommended to apply a greasy cream to the skin – this way it will stop “breathing”.

Peeling with a badyaga must be performed in a course of 2 to 10 procedures with intervals of 10 days – 2 weeks. The cosmetologist will determine the number of procedures based on the condition of your skin, as well as the number of problems with the skin to be solved. In order to simply refresh the skin, you can perform two peeling procedures with a break of 10 days between them.

Peeling courses with this cosmetic product can be performed twice a year, in the cold season, with a half-year break – for example, in October or November, as well as in February or March.
