Leslie Vigil from the state of California can be called not only a talented pastry chef, but also a real master of cake embroidery. Sweet masterpieces of this craftswoman look like they are embroidered with a needle and thread. These sweet products are similar to plants and flowers. How does she manage to create such complex creations? The artist pastry chef uses buttercream frosting as “stitches” to create intricate patterns in the form of sheets and other details.
From hobby to profession
Since childhood, the girl was distinguished by her passion for the art of confectionery. Therefore, it is not surprising that the girl decided to devote herself to this business. To master the skills of confectionery, she graduated from prestigious courses, attended master classes and continued to expand her knowledge.
“I retained in my memory all that useful and important that I learned in the learning process, and later began to develop independently: I watched, read, experimented, studied in all sorts of ways, until I achieved my goal,” says Leslie Vigil.
In her colorful collection of cakes, Mexican and Russian motives can be traced, but sometimes she combines ornaments from other peoples.
“I like the harmony of textile traditions of different cultures”, – the girl shares.
