Kirk Hinrich net worth is an American retired professional basketball player who played guard for the Chicago Bulls of the NBA and earned two All-Defensive Second Team awards during his time there. Not only was he an accomplished basketball player but he is also known for being an outstanding businessman and philanthropist; married since 2007 to his wife Jill Fisher with whom he shares two children together.

He has garnered several honors over his career, such as NBA All-Rookie First Team honors in 2004 and 2007, and All-Defensive Second Team selection in 2007. Additionally, Hinrich has appeared in over 50 postseason games during that span as well. Beyond professional basketball, Hinrich was part of U.S. men’s national basketball team – earning a bronze medal at FIBA World Championship in Japan 2006.

Kirk Hinrich was born January 2, 1981 in Sioux City, Iowa to Jim and Nancy Hinrich and began playing basketball at an early age under his father’s tutelage – Briar Cliff College before later serving as coach at Sioux City West High School. By age 8 or 9, Hinrich began showing signs of talent exhibited early on in life.

He began his professional basketball career in 2003 after being selected seventh overall by the Chicago Bulls to begin. He spent seven seasons there before temporarily playing with Washington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks for brief spells; before returning back to Chicago as part of a 2012 deal. He retired from professional basketball altogether in 2016.

At his time with the Bulls, he earned numerous accolades and was widely considered one of the premier defensive players in the league. He amassed over 12,000 career points while earning three All-Star selections; during 2006-07’s playoff run he scored over 100 points in just ten playoff games!

Kirk has long been involved with and supported various charitable efforts, particularly Special Olympics. As its founder of Camp High Hopes – an initiative providing sports and other activities for special needs children – and creating the Hinrich Foundation which raises money for various worthy causes, he has long shown his generosity by contributing time, talent, and financial resources.

Kirk Hinrich earned more than $30 Million during his professional basketball career. He twice won the All-Star Weekend Three-Point Shootout championship and twice took home All-Star Game MVP honors, hailing from Sioux City, Iowa before graduating from University of Kansas under Coach Bill Self; serving with US national basketball team nicknamed Captain Kirk as well. Kirk Hinrich was honored with induction into Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Additionally he lives with family in South Dakota. Hinrich practices Roman Catholicism and enjoys fishing – family life all around!
