Winter has its culinary advantages, since hot soups and stews are present on the table much more often than at any other time of the year, and in winter, you see, they taste quite differently than in summer.

1. Beef stew with winter vegetables
The advantage of beef stew is that you can cook it on the stove, in the oven, or in a slow cooker. For this dish, you will need the actual beef (pre-boiled or stewed), 5 carrots, 4 large potatoes, 3 celery stalks, fresh parsley and seasonings to taste. Instead of water for stewing meat with vegetables, add a little beef broth to make the dish more satisfying.

2. Chicken with pepper
In a skillet, sauté a small yellow onion in 4 tablespoons of butter until the onions are tender. Then add the chopped chicken pieces seasoned with salt, black and hot pepper. Flip the chicken occasionally as it cooks over low heat. Then add sweet bell pepper slices to complement this hearty yet simple dish.
3. Tortellini soup
Well, or let’s call it more familiar and understandable – soup with dumplings, but in this dish we need exactly tortellini stuffed with cheese. This is a winter and very satisfying option, which is prepared on the basis of the vegetable minestrone soup. When the minestrone is almost done, you simply add some frozen cheese tortellini for a delicious meal. And if you want to make the soup even richer in taste, you can put small cubes of boiled meat in it.

4. Panini with turkey breast
A turkey panini is a great idea for those lazy evenings when the family is not at the table, but sitting and watching movies on the couch. Use toast bread, thick roasted turkey slices, honey mustard, cheese wedges, and fried peppers for the filling. Now make closed sandwiches and bake them in the oven or press grill.
5. Braised pork chops
For a quick bite to eat on weekdays, you can prepare pork chops in a large skillet with a lid along with your favorite BBQ sauce. Be sure to dilute the sauce with a little water. Boiling slowly will allow the flavor of the sauce to penetrate the chops. Serve with baked potatoes and salad for a simple yet delicious dinner.
6. Stuffed mushrooms
Large champignons (more precisely, their caps) are ideal for stuffing with a variety of ingredients. Fill the mushroom caps with a mixture of finely chopped tomatoes, ham and cheese and place in the oven (200 degrees) for 15 minutes. When the stuffed mushrooms are done, sprinkle them with fresh basil or parsley.
7. Halves of peppers stuffed with cheese steak
This is a healthier alternative to traditional cheese steak sandwiches, but tastes just as well. Cut the bell peppers in half and fill the halves with cheese steak, that is, minced meat and cheese. Sprinkle with any spices and fresh herbs on top. Bake in an oven at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes – until the cheese is melted and the pepper is soft.
8. Stewed chicken with ginger
While you can add whatever you want to the chicken stew, it is the ginger that will give the dish a warming heat that takes away the winter blues and drowsiness. You need to put in a bowl the pieces of chicken, grated with salt and pepper, chopped potatoes, mushrooms and two carrots, add half a teaspoon of dried ginger, plus the rest of the seasonings to taste, pour chicken broth and simmer over low heat until tender.
9. Pizza on a French baguette
You can fantasize about pizza and make it more satisfying if you make it with a French baguette. Slice a crispy baguette lengthwise and pour a layer of pizza sauce over each half. Top with thick slices of mushrooms, red and green bell peppers, chopped ham or sausage and mozzarella cheese. Bake in oven (200 degrees) for about 15 minutes.
10. Baked spaghetti
Sprinkle the prepared spaghetti with the grated mozzarella and parmesan mixture, add your favorite sauce, herbs and spices and bake in the oven until the cheese melts. Don’t forget to serve ready-made flavored spaghetti with hot crispy garlic bread.
