John Deere Mower Height Control Knob Removal
To remove a jd mower’s height control knob, you need to first locate the U-shaped piece that is under the knob. Turn the nut down until it loosens, then turn the knob out with the strap wrench. In extreme cases, you may need to use adjustable pliers or PB Blaster to break the nut. To protect your fender pan, place a rag on the bottom of the hydro lever.
