Actress Cobie Smulders shared why until recently she could not have children?

Actress Cobie Smulders feared she would never be able to have children. At 25, she survived ovarian cancer.

The cancer diagnosis scared Kobe because she thought she would never be able to have children again. She did not even remember the more dire consequences.

“I was terribly confused back then,” Smulders recalls. – I had a huge fear that I would not be able to have children. I have always been very child-loving, I adored children, I wanted to have my own little ones. Not being able to have children, especially at such an early age, seemed like a monstrous ordeal. Although motherhood was not on my mind at 25, I still dreamed of becoming a mom one day. It was very difficult and depressing for me.

The actress of the series “How I Met Your Mother” was lucky to have a doctor. Indeed, in 2007 there were not as many drugs and funds as now. But the doctor was able to correctly develop a treatment regimen based even on what was.

“I remember how I rushed about in panic, in madness and tried to search Google for data on my illness,” she complains. – I tried to better understand what was happening to me. “For me at the time, it seemed like the best decision was to share the news only with my family,” Smulders recalls. – I didn’t want to share it with everyone. It would not make anyone hot or cold. And now that I have overcome everything, there is a certain sense in this. I can say: “This is what I went through, what I went through. This is what I was able to do, I learned a lot.
