American singer of Cuban origin Camila Cabello, whose career began in the 2010s, is now rapidly gaining popularity, crowding out such “giants” of music as Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande.
However, as in many cases, the facade of success and well-being hides its own difficulties and problems: in one of the recent posts, the star spoke about the difficulties of building a career, emotional burnout and lack of rest.
Only the lazy one does not speak about the sultry Cuban woman with a charming face, Camila Cabello now: a loud romance with Shawn Mendes, a role in a movie, a figure, images on the red carpet … built a career and eventually faced the phenomenon of burnout.
“I felt guilty this weekend”
The pandemic changed the life and worldview of many people, and the Hollywood star Camila Cabello was no exception: the girl admitted that recently she finally managed to realize the importance and necessity of such a simple phenomenon as rest.
“One of the significant things I learned during the pandemic is the importance of rest. Before, I literally had no choice but to stop and just stand still, I didn’t know what work-life balance was. I felt guilty at the weekend, because it seemed to me that I was not working or I could do even more, ”the singer wrote on her Instagram account.
The star admitted that at the time of the start of quarantine, she was exhausted and completely burned out due to continuous work. However, having learned to rest, devote time to yourself, your mental and physical health and just be lazy, the star again felt a surge of creative energy and inspiration. And now, realizing the need for rest, the singer got rid of the feeling of guilt and calmly allows herself to sometimes be lazy and do nothing.
“We are not robots and our brain is not a computer”
The star also warned other people against burnout at work, stressing that the modern world makes very strict demands on us and makes us live in a frantic rhythm, which is very dangerous for ourselves. According to the star, such a lifestyle is contrary to our nature, because initially we were created for a completely different rhythm.
“Culture constantly makes us feel that we are not doing enough, and we have to hurry up and puzzle over … but do not forget that rest is honorable, necessary and sacred … We are not robots and our brain is not a computer. For our health and happiness during our short stay here on Earth, the social structures of work and how they relate to human mental health need to be updated. ”
In the 21st century, burnout at work has indeed become very common, and many stars, like Camila Cabello, have faced this problem. For example, a workaholic like Beyoncé in 2011 stopped coping with stress and had to take a long break in her career to recover. Selena Gomez, Meghan Markle, Hilary Duff and other stars also admitted to burnout.
