Buying a new mower deck is an expensive task, but a John Deere 38 inch mower deck rebuild kit is an excellent way to fix the problem. The kit contains all the necessary parts to repair the damaged mower deck, including the blades. In addition, the rebuild kit contains the spindle assemblies and pulleys. Those parts include a new primary deck belt, which is a 1/2″ x 60″ belt, as well as a secondary deck belt, which is a 1/2″ w x 66″ belt. It also includes an idler pulley, which replaces the AM107468 or AM37249 idlerpulley, which is usually missing in the remanufacturing process.
