Dolls that look like real people: the work of a Ukrainian artist
On planet Earth, regardless of time, there will always be people who surprise with their creativity and talent. Among them is a Ukrainian artist Anastasia Lutsenko… The girl is engaged in the creation of ball-jointed dolls, which she sells to private collections. It should be noted that Anastasia Is a very talented artist who creates incredible realistic dollsimages of which can be confused with photographs of living people. It is enough to look at the dolls she creates to be convinced of this. Moreover, the girl creates all the dolls herself.
What is the difference between a ball-jointed doll and a regular one?
Jointed dolls – these are not ordinary toys at all, but real works of art! Such toys, unlike simple dolls, boast articulated joints, due to which they are able to assume a variety of human postures. As a rule, ball-jointed dolls are made from polyurethane, porcelain, quick-hardening plastic and on a 3D printer. These designer dolls are usually handcrafted. Jointed dolls are often called Bjd (from the English phrase ball-jointed doll). They don’t even play with them, because they are works of art!
Anastasia’s incredible dolls
The artist’s stunning work is highly sought after by collectors for its strikingly detailed and human-like appearance. Anastasia spares no time and effort to choose its own image for each doll, as well as a good pose and background for the photo. The girl is full of creative ideas. There are many of them, and each is unique. Each of her dolls has its own “story” in the eyes. Perhaps this is the most interesting and difficult thing about her realistic dolls. As you can see, puppetry is a delicate and painstaking art.
